Clarification Regarding Withholding Tax Differences Between Data Wow and the Cookie Wow Website
We would like to clarify the reason why the withholding tax policy for Data Wow may differ from the information displayed on the Cookie Wow website:
Payments Made via the Cookie Wow Website:
Payments made through the website are processed via a credit card system linked to the website.
The payment service provider is Ndatathoth Co., Ltd., a joint venture with Data Wow Co., Ltd.
Ndatathoth Co., Ltd. has been granted BOI (Board of Investment) privileges, which means no withholding tax is required for payments made through this system.
Payments Made via Bank Transfer to Data Wow:
If the payment is made directly via bank transfer to Data Wow Co., Ltd.,
Please note that Data Wow does not have BOI privileges, and therefore a 3% withholding tax applies, as per the Thai Revenue Department’s standard regulations.
This withholding tax is clearly stated in the official quotation issued by Data Wow for bank transfer payments.
